This suite for advanced guitarists contains three works from Once Around the Sun.

Joy, Radiance and Bravura, are about human inner qualities or states of being, but they are also emotions we experience in outdoor life. I often refer to such pieces as being “adventure” music.

All three works are rhythmically forward-moving and clearly crafted to be exciting and uplifting. Each has its own characteristic musical identity, texture and melodic spirit.

I also consider this suite the second of a series of works with the subtitle The Conditions of Being Human.
